We are seeking a reliable and experienced Valeter to join a busy and growing automotive conversion business based in Banbury.
This role sits within a specialist vehicle preparation team responsible for ensuring vehicles are presented to an exceptional standard prior to customer collection. It is an excellent opportunity to work within a quality-focused environment where attention to detail and pride in presentation are essential.
This position will involve preparing vehicles to a high standard inside and out, ensuring they are fully cleaned, polished and ready for handover. The successful Valeter will be responsible for the thorough cleaning of interiors and exteriors, including dashboards, cabinetry, seating areas, windows, paintwork, and wheels. A careful, methodical approach and strong eye for detail are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities Of The Valeter Team:
- Wash, jet wash and dry vehicle exteriors to a high presentation standard
- Polish paintwork and remove water marks where required
- Clean alloy wheels and dress tyres
- Vacuum and sanitise all interior areas, including cab and living spaces
- Carefully clean dashboards, control panels, cabinetry, worktops and fitted units
- Clean internal windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Ensure soft furnishings, upholstery and seating areas are spotless and presentation-ready
- Check vehicles for cosmetic imperfections and report any defects prior to handover
- Work closely with the production and conversion teams to ensure vehicles meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and environmental procedures at all times
Knowledge And Skills Required:
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential) – maximum of 6 penalty points
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
- Pride in delivering high-quality presentation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of safe working practices and COSHH
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
