Quality Inspector – Weekends or Weekday Nights

Contract Type: Permanent or Contract
Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
Salary: £20.02 per hours (Weekday Nights, including shift allowance)
£21.36 - £22.78 per hour (Weekends)
Hours: 21:15 – 07:00, Monday – Thursday
Or
Fri 11:30am-12am
Sat 1pm - 1:30am
Sun 1pm - 1:30am

Role Summary

This Quality Inspector role involves working within a small, highly skilled team to deliver high-quality transmission components, primarily for the motorsport and aerospace sectors. The Quality Inspector will focus is on achieving right first-time quality through accurate inspection, strong technical understanding, and adherence to routed timeframes.

Role & Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector

• Interpret and work accurately from complex technical drawings and geometric tolerances
• Inspect components against drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality standards
• Carry out manual inspection using a range of measuring equipment
• Perform table work to validate components against drawing and planning requirements
• Support continuous improvement activities through proactive problem-solving
• Provide flexible support to other manufacturing areas when required
• Work additional hours when necessary to meet delivery deadlines

Requirements of the Role

• The Quality Inspector will have a strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances
• Experience inspecting precision components within routed timeframes
• Competence using manual measuring equipment
• Experience performing detailed table inspection work
• Programming experience on CMM systems would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous
• Proactive, innovative mindset with a strong team-focused approach
