About the Role

Are you an experienced Production Process Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join our production team, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will design, optimise, and troubleshoot production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of Production Process Engineer

  • Process Optimisation – Develop, optimise, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Continuous Improvement – Lead and participate in projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process methodologies.
  • Data & Performance Analysis – Monitor production parameters, analyse data, and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
  • Quality & Compliance – Ensure production meets ISO and regulatorystandards while maintaining health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to identify and implement improvements.
  • Cost Reduction – Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction without compromising quality.
  • New Product Support – Assist in the launch of new products by ensuring manufacturing processes meet specifications and volume requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
  • Six Sigma certification
  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably steel or metal processing industries)
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process engineering techniques
  • Experience with process control systems, automation, and plant equipment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement improvements
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
