Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Leamington Spa
Contract: Permanent

Day shift: 8.00am – 4:30pm

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing environment based in Leamington Spa. Working a permanent day shift, the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will support both planned and reactive maintenance activities across plant equipment, machinery, and site facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to become part of an experienced team, ensuring operational efficiency and minimal downtime within a fast-paced production setting.

Role & Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plant equipment, machinery, tools, and production processes

• Carry out preventative maintenance including servicing, inspection, testing, and cleaning

• Respond to machinery breakdowns in a timely and effective manner

• Conduct fault diagnosis and root cause analysis

• Liaise with suppliers and technical support teams where required

• Perform general site maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements Of The Role

• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar

• Apprenticeship within an engineering discipline preferred but not essential

• Proven experience maintaining a range of machinery and on-site facilities

• Clean UK driving licence

• Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial environments advantageous

• Strong fault-finding ability with excellent attention to detail
