Our client is a bespoke engineering company. From design and build to repair and refurbishment, they serve clients across multiple industries with tailored mechanical solutions. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to add a Mechanical Fitter to their talented team in Warwick. 

This is a varied and dynamic role, giving you a balance of workshop-based work and site visits. You’ll be: 

• Assembling and commissioning new machinery 
• Building, testing, and installing new systems 
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs or part replacements 
• Assisting with the wiring of basic electrical control panels and testing systems 
• Helping customers get the most out of their equipment through training and handovers 
• Supporting design meetings with your practical, hands-on expertise 
• Contributing to a close-knit, positive, and collaborative team 
• Occasional travel to customer sites in a company vehicle for servicing and support 

The ideal Mechanical Fitter will have:

• Mechanical fitting experience using a variety of hand tools 
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and electrical wiring 
• Fault-finding know-how and a problem-solving mindset 
• Good communication skills—you’re just as confident with colleagues as you are with clients 
• The ability to work independently on-site and as part of a collaborative team 

Salary and benefits

• Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience)
