• Days - £15.13 per hour
• Early and Late shifts - £16.86 per hour
• Nights -£18.55 per hour

Our client is a leading international manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. They are looking for a Machine Operator to join their existing team on a temporary, ongoing basis.

The Machine Operator Role:

• As a Machine Operator, you will be operating and running machines on-site within the press shop
• Manufacturing components to a high standard
• Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
• Using engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier’s, callipers, or Micrometres
• Maintaining machinery by cleaning it and making sure it is in working order, and checking and ordering materials needed.
• Working with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium
• Removing and cleaning of finished parts ready for Production.
• Completing your own quality control checks
• Completion of documentation
• Keeping to tight deadlines and targets

The ideal Machine Operator

• Previous experience of operating Press, Laser, or Brake machines
• Setting experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Can prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision
• Applicants will need to demonstrate attention to detail and reliability
• Must be a self-motivated individual.

Shifts

Days --06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 (20-minute break)
Shifts

Rotating Fortnightly shifts

06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday

14.00 -22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday (20 minutes break)

Nights, Monday to Thursday 22.00 - 06.00 am and Fri 20.00 to 03.00
 
39 hrs per week + possible overtime

• Days - £15.13 per hour
