Field based Installation Operative required to join a growing business with Headquarters in Warwick, on a permanent basis paying £25,000 per annum plus generous ad-hoc bonuses.

A highly regarded Traffic Data Collection specialist with a valued reputation for delivering high quality traffic and transportation survey data on behalf of local authorities and transport consultants nationwide are looking to expand their team.

They are currently seeking a Field based Installation Operative to join their team; this role is offered as a mobile / field-based position with 90% of time spent visiting different roadside locations throughout the UK (primarily the South region and Midlands) and 10% based within the office in Warwick or from a remote location.

The successful Field based Installation Operative will be responsible for the road-side installation, monitoring and collection of a range of surveying tools including; video surveys (ANPR), manual surveys, speed surveys (radar / laser), automatic traffic counters (ATC), journey time surveys (JTS), pedestrian and parking surveys as well as data downloads.

Offering a flexible working pattern which fluctuates with demand, this position would suit a hard-working individual looking to move away from a 9-5 working model. The successful Installation Operative will benefit from a salary of £25,000 per annum, paid monthly regardless of busy or quite periods. A generous bonus is also offered, based on company profitability.

The ideal Field based Installation Operative will hold the following qualities

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy and enjoy the aspect of working with technical equipment
• Have a basic understanding of the Health & Safety considerations associated with working on a live highway
• Good standard of level of numeracy and IT skills, along with basic knowledge of MS Office packages
• Be a competent and experienced driver (valid UK Driving Licence ideally with no more than 3 points)
• Confidence to handle power tools onsite while working close to a live highway
• Be organised, conscientious, motivated and flexible
• Due to the nature of this role a good level of physical capability is required.
• The most important attributes for this role are reliability and flexibility

Salary: £25,000 per annum + Benefits including enhanced holiday allowance and discretional bonuses.

Training: Full Training provided. Following a successful training period, the successful Field based Installation Operative will be issued a Company Vehicle for business use.

Working Hours:

Due to the nature of this position, all applicants must be flexible towards working hours. This position is a salaried position with consistent monthly earnings despite the fluctuation in hours (e.g. School Holidays tend to be reduced hours, Term Time tends to see heightened hours).
