IT Project Manager – Digital Transformations
Location: Crewe
Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site
Contract: Outside IR35
Contract until 30th June 2026

Role Summary

The IT Project Manager – Digital Transformations will lead the delivery of Digital Transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on service and vendor transitions during the implementation phase. The IT Project Manager – Digital Transformations will coordinate complex handovers between incumbent suppliers and newly appointed service providers, ensuring continuity of service and alignment to contractual and commercial commitments.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver Digital Transformation projects through the implementation and transition phases
• Manage the transition of IT services from incumbent providers to newly appointed partners
• Coordinate all transition activities between internal teams, outgoing vendors and incoming service providers
• Manage projects using a traditional waterfall project lifecycle approach
• Ensure contractual and commercial components agreed during procurement are delivered and embedded
• Lead risk, issue and dependency management throughout service transitions
• Provide clear governance, reporting and communication to senior stakeholders
• Manage project schedules, milestones and budgets across multiple workstreams
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, quality and timelines

Requirements Of The Role

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering client-side Digital Transformation projects
• Demonstrable experience managing service transitions between IT service providers
• Strong background coordinating third-party vendors and suppliers
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of traditional waterfall project delivery
• PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management qualification
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle delivery and transition
