Role Summary

The Demand & Portfolio Coordinator plays a key role in supporting customer experience demand and prioritisation activities within a complex digital environment. The position contributes to shaping and managing the demand pipeline, ensuring clarity, control, and alignment with strategic roadmaps.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the capture, validation, and assessment of digital demand submissions as Demand & Portfolio Coordinator.
  • Ensure demand requests are processed promptly and routed to appropriate delivery channels.
  • Maintain traceability of demand items from initial request through to delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate key meetings, ensuring appropriate stakeholder representation and content coverage.
  • Contribute to governance forums and demand synchronisation activities.
  • Maintain dashboards, datasets, and reporting tools to ensure accuracy of demand and portfolio data.
  • Coordinate demand outputs and supporting documentation, tracking delivery and highlighting risks.
  • Support portfolio visibility and assist in prioritisation aligned to strategic roadmaps.
  • Monitor portfolio health, escalating risks and issues where required.
  • Build strong working relationships across business, digital, regional, and centre of excellence teams.
  • Act as a reliable interface between demand requestors and delivery teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of demand and portfolio processes.

Requirements Of The Role

  • Experience supporting portfolio management or PMO activities within large, complex organisations as a Demand & Portfolio Coordinator.
  • Good understanding of digital ecosystems and technical landscapes.
  • Ability to recognise digital complexity and identify potential delivery risks.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and ways of working.
  • Ability to build productive relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Professional PMO qualification (e.g. PRINCE2®, MSP®, P3O®) desirable but not essential.
