An exciting opportunity has become available for experienced Quality Inspectors to join a specialist coatings and manufacturing environment in Oldbury.
The Quality Inspector will focus on achieving right first-time quality through accurate inspection, strong technical understanding, and adherence to routed timeframes. You’ll inspect, rework, and manage incoming and in-build components, ensuring every part meets exacting standards
Working hours:
Night Shift (39.5 hours per week)
Monday – Thursday: 2:00pm – 12:00am
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspections on incoming goods and in-build parts to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Identify defects, quality concerns, and non-conformances, escalating where required
- Accurately complete all inspection and job-related documentation using internal systems
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure clear, effective communication and strong collaboration.
- Ensure all parts are compliant and meet final sign-off criteria
- Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and safe condition
The Ideal Quality Inspector:
- Proven Experience: Background in parts inspection, quality assurance, or a related field
- Technical Know-How: Solid understanding of inspection and rework processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver a high-quality finish
- Ability to follow structured processes and complete detailed documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
