Key Responsibilities as a HR Manager:
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to managers and leadership teams
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management and people development
- Support recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and talent development activities
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives
- Lead and support disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes
- Champion culture change and continuous improvement programmes
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Use HR data and insights to support business decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working
Who We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role
- Manufacturing, engineering or operational environment experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Proven ability to influence, coach and challenge stakeholders
- Experience supporting employee engagement, organisational development or change initiatives
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working across multiple sites when required
- CIPD qualified or equivalent professional experience
