Role: Welder Fabricator
Location: Banbury
Rate: £13.00 per hour
Permanent.

Our client is a well-established Engineering specialist with a heritage of over 25 years, specialising in welding and fabrication across a broad customer portfolio.

You will be working alongside a team of steelwork specialists and will be involved in a varied role working on Architectural & Secondary Steelwork, General fabrication, Batch/Production Welding, Structural Steelwork, Prototype Production. This position would be best suited to someone who is looking for a varied role with the opportunity to work alongside like-minded specialist to achieve high quality results.

THE IDEAL WELDER / FABRICATOR:

• Experienced in MIG, TIG & MMA Welding techniques
• Experience in Fabrication to include
  • Bespoke stillages
  • Hole punching
  • Plate cropping
  • Drilling
  • Pipe bending and threading
  • Shearing
  • Folding
• Experienced working with a range of materials including:
  • Mild & carbon steels
  • Aluminium
  • Stainless steels
  • Cast iron
  • Copper
  • Brass
• Experience in the following techniques would be advantageous:
  • Bronze & Brass brazing
  • Flame Cutting
  • Plasma Cutting
• The ability to read and interpret engineer drawings and sketches
• Have knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H and environmental procedures
• Have a flexible attitude towards working hours as overtime may be required

WORKING HOURS: 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
