Sales Support Administrator

Warwick

A leading and innovative automotive and engineering component distributor, with a strong customer base including automotive OEM’s, are seeking a Sales Support Administrator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small team of professionals that provide a bespoke service to their clients.

Sales Support Administrator duties and responsibilities:

1)    Sales Support:

  • Assist with sales order processing across the business from quotation through to invoicing
  • Answering incoming calls as a customer service representative and where necessary transferring calls using the company switchboard
  • Supporting with general data entry into the company Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) software
  • Use established systems to monitor and expedite orders where necessary to meet demands
  • Support the development of operational processes within the sales office
  • Process Customer Credit Card (PDQ) payments

2)     Logistics:

  • Book and coordinate courier services across the business

3)    Purchasing Support:

  • Place purchase orders with suppliers for Engineering Project requirements
  • Place purchase orders for fastener and pneumatic fitting Kanban bins

4)    General Office Administration:

  • Monitor and order office stationery
  • Send out new Customer Account Application Forms
  • Send out and follow up on new Supplier Questionnaires
  • Act as point of contact for the office cleaning company (once COVID-19 restrictions have lifted and the service can be used again)
  • Produce Certificate of Conformity documents
  • Maintain and process items for the customer mailing list
  • Support with ISO9001 Internal Audits and Procedures

5)    General:

  • To co-ordinate their own annual leave and hours of work in the best interests of the Company, in accordance with the Annual Leave policy and with the approval of the Manager
  • To always liaise with other members of staff in a professional manner
  • To be responsible for always representing the Company in a professional manner
  • To comply with all Company policies and procedures and undertake any training as required.
  • To comply with all Health and Safety responsibilities and guidelines.

The ideal Sales Support Administrator will have:

  • Will have had experience in a similar Sales Support Administrator role
  • Versatility and flexibility within the company
  • Commercial experience
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Business skills – numeracy and IT literacy
  • Basic knowledge and terminology of mechanical components would be an advantage

Working hours: 39.75 per week Mon - Fri
