About the Role:

As a Quality Vehicle Technician, you’ll bring your hands-on mechanical understanding to a role that goes beyond traditional inspection. You’ll work alongside a skilled team to validate every aspect of vehicle builds, from safety-critical mechanical checks to aesthetic quality standards. Collaborating with various teams, you’ll also perform fault analyses, using your technical insight to help set rectification actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality Inspection: Validate the mechanical and aesthetic aspects of each vehicle, ensuring all criteria—from torques to fitment—are up to specification.
  • Primary Fault Analysis: Partner with cross-functional teams to analyse issues with a “4M” approach (Man, Machine, Method, Material) and develop practical solutions.
  • Team Collaboration & Process Improvement: Communicate standards across teams, promoting a proactive “no fault forward” approach to vehicle quality.

Hours:

Day Shift: Monday – Thursday: 7.30am – 16.15pm and Friday 7.00am – 15.30pm with the opportunity for weekday and Saturday overtime.
