Days –8-5 Monday-Thursday 8-12 Friday -Moving to shifts after training (6am – 2.30 pm and 2.30pm – 11pm)

Pay Rate: £13.33 per hour, increasing to £13.87 after 12 weeks + shift allowance which is £19.76

Contract: Temporary-to-permanent 

Our client is a world leading, manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. They specialise in heavy duty vehicles and are looking for a Quality Inspector / PDI Technician (Pre delivery inspection) to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

As the Quality Inspector / PDI Technician you will be responsible for carrying out all quality checks before signing them off for delivery. This is an essential part of the manufacturing process and requires attention to detail.
The successful Quality Inspector / PDI Technician would ideally have experience within a manufacturing environment, working with automotive or heavy duty vehicles. Experience in a Quality Inspector / PDI Technician role is essential due to the high volume of work.

Quality Inspector / PDI Technician – Role & Responsibilities:

     Working in a manufacturing environment you will be responsible for all quality and PDI checks ahead of delivery sign off.

     You will be checking the assembly has been carried out correctly and road testing the vehicles on site.

     Your quality checks will include but not limited to, sticker placement, engine and exhaust systems, wheel fixings, ROPs frame locks, test brake pedal stroke,  controls and appearance

     Carrying out any relevant paperwork to ensure sign off of the finished product.

     Visual inspection for leaks, fixings for torque marks

     Reporting loose fitments

     Safety point recording and logging on touch screen

     Ensuring cameras and electrics work correctly

Quality Inspector / PDI Technician - Key Skills Required:

     You will ideally have experience working in a quality inspector role or similar within a manufacturing environment.

     Your experience will ideally be working with moving vehicles.

     You will be fully converse with hand tools and air tools,

     Attention to detail is essential

     Able to work to strict deadlines
