Apex Recruitment are recruiting for the position of Production Administrator.

Role: Production Administrator

Location: Warwick

Contract type:  Permanent

Days: Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm (30 minutes lunch break) Friday - 8.30am- 2pm (no break)
Pay per annum: £23,000-£26,000 depending on experience


  • This role is to provide support to the function of planning & operations within the company and includes working with all areas of the business including sales, manufacturers, production workers, suppliers  and couriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing manufacturing orders through the system and issuing to production
  • Checking the manufacturing orders are correct
  • Liaising with production workers to ensure they have the correct manufacturing orders/there are no issues
  • Chasing parts / materials from suppliers (role could grow to issuing purchase orders / other procurement tasks)
  • Liaising with production workers to determine completion times so transport can be arranged
  • Arranging transport
  • Raising delivery paperwork
  • Completing and issuing box labels
  • Checking stock is correctly located vs what is listed in the system

Key Skills/Training Required:

  • Admin/ Customer service experience
  • Good IT skills
  • Automotive knowledge would be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other members of staff
  • Ability to be self-motivated and well organised
  • Experience with ERP System would be an advantage
