Polisher / Detailer required to join a British Automotive Manufacturer based in Woking paying a rate of £18-£20 per hour (Umbrella PAYE).

They are looking for a team of Polisher / Detailers required to join their existing team within the end of line department. The successful Polisher / Detailer will be responsible for delivering show car standard rectification and detailing across a range of high-end vehicles ensuring quality, precision and no-fault or defect results. In return the successful Polisher / Detailer will benefit from a pay rate of £18-£20 per hour (Umbrella PAYE), working a 45 hour per week contract on an ongoing basis.
The Polisher / Detailer will be quality focussed with a keen eye for detail and interest in performance vehicles. With strong bodywork knowledge, the successful Polisher / Detailer will be confident in a range of paint rectification techniques as well as fully skilled in detailing practices ensuring pristine show car standards are attained.
Duties and responsibilities of the Polisher / Detailer:
- Soap and Sponge of vehicles
- Blow Drying of vehicles
- Leather drying of vehicles
- Interior vacuuming
- Wiping of all interior trim
- Window cleaning
- Removal of water marks
- Dressing of tyres and wheel arches
- Mopping and Polishing
- Vehicle waxing
- ‘On wheels’ whole vehicle paint rectification
- Paint rectification
- Minor dent repair
- Carrying out paint inspection on new vehicles
The ideal Polisher / Detailer:
- Proven experience working within an Automotive Manufacturer within a paint rectification / detailing discipline
- Strong bodywork knowledge.
- Quality focused with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to follow processes and detailed work instructions
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and achieve set timescales
Working hours: 45 hours per week + overtime every other Saturday as per business needs.
Weekly Rotating Shifts:
Earlies: 5.30am – 14.45pm / Lates: 15.00pm – 23.45pm
Pay Rates: Umbrella PAYE
Earlies: £18.00 per hour / Lates: £20.00 per hour
Saturday Overtime: £24.00 per hour
