Panel Beater / Sheet Metal Fabricator required to join an existing team of restoration experts based in Bridgnorth, paying a salary in the region of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (skillset dependant)
A highly regarded Classic Car retailer with an international reputation for car restoration are looking for a talented Panel Beater / Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team of technicians in Bridgnorth, offering a salary in the region of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum.
This position is ideal for Classic car enthusiasts with an eye for detail, who take pride in their work and have exceptional talent in Panel restoration, panel repairs and panel fabrication and forming. The successful Panel Beater / Sheet Metal Fabricator will either have experience within classic vehicles with a panel restoration and repair discipline working on a range of classic marques or will be highly skilled in sheet metal fabrication, with the ability to create panels from scratch as well as form and shape panels to a high-quality finish.

The role will be varied and challenging requiring a broad range of panel beating and body shop skills:
Duties and Responsibilities of the Panel Beater / Sheet Metal Fabricator:
- Accident and damage repair to vehicle structure and body panels
- Restore and repair body panels and chassis
- Traditional and modern welding techniques (MIG & TIG)
- Fabrication from scratch
- Working with sheet aluminium, steel, stainless steel, copper and brass
- Working on whole vehicles repairing all body panels
- Led loading and forming panels using an English wheel would be an advantage but is not essential as training can be given.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, however, start time and finish times are flexible between the following hours: Monday to Friday- 7.30am-5.30pm.
