Paint Sprayer / Paint Refinisher required to join an existing team of restoration experts based in Bridgnorth, paying a salary in the region of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum.

A highly regarded Classic Car retailer with an international reputation for car restoration are looking for a talented Paint Sprayer / Paint Refinisher to join their team of technicians in Bridgnorth, offering a salary in the region of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum.

This position is ideal for Classic car enthusiasts with an eye for detail, who take pride in their work and have exceptional talent in Paint preparation, paint spraying, paint rectification and refinishing. The Paint Sprayer / Paint Refinisher will be responsible for the paint lifecycle of classic vehicles working to bespoke and custom specifications. This role requires a broad range of skills including; paint preparation, spray painting, tinting and colouring ensuring the application of base coasts, primers, lacquers, finishes and various paints are flawless.

In return the successful Paint Sprayer / Paint Refinisher will receive the security of a permanent positionwithin an established and successful company, a competitive salary up to £30,000 per annum, a fantastic pension scheme, profit-based bonus scheme, flexible working, 28 days holiday AND overtime pay.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Paint Sprayer / Paint Refinisher:

  • Preparation of panels for painting including prime, prep and masking
  • Carry out full re-sprays and necessary repairs using various spraying techniques
  • Application of basecoats, primers, lacquers and finishes
  • Working with a variety of paints including;
    • Water and solvent-based paints
    • Clear over base paints
    • Solid and two-pack paints
    • Metallic paints
    • 3 stage Pearlescent paints
    • Matte lacquer finishes
    • Special paints
    • Ensuring vehicles are flawless with no drip marks, tear backs or defects
    • Flattening and polishing using specialist methods
    • Ensure all parts and panels are audited with relevant sign off.

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, however, start time and finish times are flexible between the following hours: Monday to Friday- 7.30am-5.30pm.
