£40,770.25 per annum (Plus shift on afternoons)

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, looking to join a world leading engineering business at their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry? We are ideally looking for those with an electrical bias, and with experience of machine maintenance.

As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will utilise your expertise in CNC Machines, Electrical systems and Mechanical systems to ensure equipment runs smoothly and production standards and safety protocols are maintained.

A typical day as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician:

• Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical issues on machines.
• Review electrical drawings and perform fault finding.
• Work on preventative maintenance and update older machines.
• Engage with the team on the shop floor to ensure seamless operations.

Take responsibility of ensuring standards and safety are maintained:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on CNC machines, plant and equipment.
• Prioritise safety for operators and maintenance personnel.
• Conduct planned and preventive maintenance.
• Install and refurbish plant equipment to facilitate continuous improvement of company assets.
• Reduce downtime by monitoring and refining first-line and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with operators and team leaders to maintain efficiency.

Who is our ideal Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician?

• NVQ Level 3 in maintenance / manufacturing or equivalent.
• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background, ideally with an electrical bias.
• CNC machine and machine tool experience, ideally with Mazak equipment.
• Ability to read machine drawings and manuals (mechanical and electrical).
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
