Our client, a large, well established manufacturing company that specialise in the production and delivery of cooking appliances, interior furnishings and accessories, based in Leamington Spa.
They are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join their team in their Press Department on a temporary basis in Leamington Spa,
MACHINE OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating machine
- Feeding the sheets and operation of the machine
- Maintaining machinery by cleaning it and making sure it is in working order
- Quality checking of products
- Some heavy lifting
- Keeping to tight deadlines and targets
Machine Operator skills and attributes:
- Previous experience within a machine operating position
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Has the ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a self-motivated individual.
Working hours:
Shifts -06.00-14.00/14.00/22.00 and Nights -22.00-06.00 Mon-Thurs and 20.00-03.00 on Friday - On a fortnightly rotating basis
Nights - 22.00-06.00 Mon-Thurs and 20.00-03.00 on Friday
Pay rate:
Shifts - Pay Rate £12.94 after 4 weeks goes up to £14.00
Nights - Pay Rate £14.99 after 4 weeks goes up to £16.06
