A large and well-established company are seeking a Logistics Administrator within their Customer Account Team to join their team based in Upper Heyford on a permanent basis paying £19,000 – £20,000 per annum.

An experienced car marketplace with an impressive history spanning nearly 70 years, are currently looking for a Logistics Administrator to join the Customer Accounts team based on-site at their facility in Upper Heyford. Reporting to the Customer Accounts Supervisor and indirectly supporting the Customer Service Manager the ideal Logistics Administrator will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with different departments to ensure a quality service is provided.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator:

  • To ensure the completion of vehicle Movement paperwork in line with the requirements of the customer & department.
  • Arrange and collate any postage for the customer’s paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Monitor all Paperwork returns to highlight missing elements. Report on a daily basis any outstanding paperwork and give reasons why.
  • Communicate return paperwork delays to the CSC for onward communication to the customer.
  • To monitor the accuracy of submitted paperwork and correct by working with the driver to educate the correct method.
  • Scan paperwork as required to the customer.
  • Report any service failures to the Logistics Supervisor and Training Department.
  • Monitor and ensure any portal data is correct and up to date.
  • Prepare daily reports for all BCA sites and movements involving Corporate Customers.
  • Attend daily AM/PM update meetings with the customer service centre, to discuss any issues with vehicles being delivered on time and issues for vehicles going out the following day.
  • Continually monitor vehicle delivery’s that have been highlighted as at risk and brief the CSC hourly on situation.
  • Process all data entry requirements as required.
  • First point of contact for Drivers if any issues with delivering the vehicles.
  • Update systems with required data and information gained from deliveries or collections.
  • Being one of the department key members of staff with regard to Ebbon Dacs and the model reporting system. Including checking and reporting any issues with the Ebbon Dacs upload.
  • Approving movement charges in a timely manner and in line with customer rates and allowances.
  • To ensure pro-active communication with the wider business.
  • Be a focal point to other sites with regard to dispatch notifications and main fleet delivery requirements and their restrictions.
  • To assist with compiling driver paperwork in readiness for pack integration.
  • Required to assist with monitoring all 3rd party suppliers adhere to customer expectations and any discrepancies investigated.
  • Be the point of contact for any administration issues for all corporate billing & Approvals.
