At Apex Recruitment we are as busy as we have ever been in our 43-year history.  Since COVID the recruitment market has exploded but recruitment is not all about placing people in jobs.  

The most important part of our week is making sure that our temporary and contract workers are being paid accurately and on time.  And to do that means that we need to ensure that all of the administration is being done correctly for these candidates.  This is where you fit in.  We need someone who is passionate about ensuring that our candidates are given the best level of care.  We need someone who has great attention to detail, is calm under pressure and is able to priortise effectively. 

As an administrator, you will be given the opportunity to learn about the whole of the Apex business and in the future if you decide that resourcing for candidates or account managing might be for you then there are opportunities for you to grow into these roles.  But don't worry, we also need a stable administration function so if you prefer to remain within that function then that is fine too!!!

The Role

The administrator will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming phone calls in a professional manner and addressing initial enquiries and then directing calls accordingly
  • Assisting in processing payroll
  • Inputting new placements onto the CRM system in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Registering new candidates
  • Undertaking reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Undertaking general administrative duties
  • Meeting and greeting clients and candidates in a professional manner
  • Assisting the management accountant with administrative duties
  • Assisting across the business wherever necessary

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good Microsoft skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Excellent verbal and written skills

The working hours for this role are Mon – Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm and on Friday 8.30am – 3pm.  However, some flexibility can be afforded for the right candidate.
