Valeter | Flexible Ad Hoc Work

Locations: Honiley, Solihull and Ryton-on-Dunsmore
Pay Rate: £13.44 per hour PAYE or can be paid via Limited Company (Outside IR35)
Working Hours: 8am -5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch

Contract: Ongoing, Long – Term

We are looking for a professional and experienced Valeter to support prestigious automotive sites across the West Midlands and Warwickshire. The Valeter will be required every Monday with the occasional Saturday, along with the flexibility for any adhoc work throughout the week.

The work sits within a private and highly confidential automotive environment responsible for VIP vehicles, press cars, event vehicles and show cars. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that quality and attention to detail are prioritised.

The Role

The successful Valeter will prepare vehicles to an immaculate standard, covering interiors, exteriors and detailed areas such as engine components, under-bonnet areas, lower door shuts and inner front wings.

Responsibilities will include:

• Jet washing vehicles
• Applying traffic film remover
• Washing vehicles using soap and sponge methods
• Blow drying and leather drying vehicles
• Vacuuming vehicle interiors
• Cleaning and wiping all interior trim
• Cleaning windows and removing water marks
• Dressing tyres and wheel arches
• Completing detailed cleaning of engine and under-bonnet areas
• Attending briefings with Team Leaders
• Reporting hazards, near misses and accidents
• Following Health and Safety, COSHH and environmental procedures

What we’re Looking for

• Previous experience within a professional valeting position
• A keen eye for detail and pride in achieving an immaculate finish
• Full UK driving licence with a maximum of six points
• Ideally over the age of 28 for insurance purposes
• A flexible approach to working hours, including overtime where required
• Flexibility to work across different locations when needed
• An understanding of COSHH and safe chemical handling
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high quality standards
