Role Summary
An exciting opportunity for a Technical Lead - Propulsion Integration to provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring successful delivery of propulsion system requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
The Technical Lead - Propulsion Integration will apply systems engineering principles to define, integrate and validate complex propulsion solutions while managing technical interfaces across multiple vehicle domains. The role is responsible for leading cross-functional collaboration, programme execution, risk management and engineering excellence to achieve performance, cost and timing targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead integration and delivery of propulsion system software, controls and calibration activities across vehicle programmes.
- Ensure alignment between hardware, software, controls and system requirements to achieve propulsion performance and vehicle attribute targets.
- Coordinate software release planning and deployment activities against programme milestones and gateway deliverables.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration between controls, calibration, systems, validation and commodity engineering teams.
- Lead propulsion verification and validation activities including MIL, SIL, HIL, vehicle-level testing and sign-off events.
- Support development and validation of torque control, energy management, thermal management, drivability, efficiency, performance and diagnostic functions.
- Review and approve software change requests, issue investigations and corrective actions.
- Drive root cause investigation and resolution of vehicle integration, software, calibration and controls-related issues.
- Ensure software maturity and readiness for prototype, DV, PV, launch and production gateways.
- Support vehicle-level testing, data analysis and issue triage activities.
- Manage functional integration and validation of propulsion features including regenerative braking, torque delivery, charging interactions, diagnostics and thermal control strategies.
- Manage propulsion systems requirements and facilitate risk and opportunity discussions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with programme, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and development teams.
- Track programme timelines, budgets and deliverables to support successful delivery.
- Support gateway material preparation and issue resolution.
- Act as a key technical authority for the Technical Lead - Propulsion Integration function across programmes.

- Suitable background for a Technical Lead - Propulsion Integration position with responsibility for complex propulsion systems.
