About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & BOM Analyst to join a globally recognised luxury automotive manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in BOM management, engineering data, material planning and MRP systems to play a key role within the Supply Chain and Logistics function.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate master data, supporting engineering changes, analysing supply chain information and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement and Supply Chain teams, you will ensure data integrity and system accuracy support effective planning, inventory management and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities for the Supply Chain & BOM Analyst role:

  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of BOM, inventory, demand and master data within MRP/ERP systems.
  • Create, maintain and validate Bill of Materials (BOMs), part numbers, attributes and product structures.
  • Ensure BOMs align with engineering specifications, product definitions and approved engineering changes.
  • Coordinate Engineering Change implementation, engineering releases and the management of superseded parts.
  • Act as a key contact between Engineering and Supply Chain for part master and BOM-related queries.
  • Support material planning through analysis of work orders, material availability and shortages.
  • Liaise with Procurement and suppliers to maintain accurate information including costs, lead times, MOQ, batch sizes and shutdown periods.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and report Supply Chain and Logistics KPIs using data analysis and Power BI.
  • Support data governance, standard operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain alignment between engineering, MRP/ERP and product definition systems.

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain & BOM Analyst role
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems and master data management.
  • Strong experience of BOM management and Engineering Change processes.
  • Experience within an automotive, engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Power BI knowledge would be advantageous
  • Experience analysing complex data and identifying discrepancies or trends.
  • Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Production, Procurement and Supply Chain.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver accurately to deadlines.
  • A proactive approach and genuine commitment to continuous improvement and getting things right first time.
