Pay Rate: £40.12 per hour Umbrella PAYE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance and Repair Technician to join a leading automotive manufacturing environment supporting production operations by working on various sealant systems. The successful candidate will be responsible formaintaining, repairing, and fault-finding on automated sealant application systems, ensuring that equipment reliability, production efficiency, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance and Repair Technician

Diagnose and repair faults on automated sealant application equipment and associated systems.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities.

Perform mechanical inspections and replace components where required.

Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with quality procedures.

Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise equipment downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance records where required.

Contribute towards maintaining high manufacturing standards across production operations.
Ideal Candidate

Strong mechanical or maintenance technician background.

Experience within automotive, manufacturing, or production environments.

Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Contract Information
This position is offered on a rolling contract basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment following a successful review period. The successful Maintenance and Repair Technician will work within a busy manufacturing environment supporting production operations.
Working Hours
Candidates will generally work a rotating three-shift pattern:

Mornings: 06:00 – 13:30

Afternoons: 13:30 – 21:00

Nights: 21:00 – 06:00
